Registration for Croton AYSO covers the 2023/2024 academic year in two seasons – Fall 2023 and Spring 2024. The last day to register is Sunday, August 27th. Opening weekend is September 9th for U10-U14 and September 16th for U5-U8.
We maintain a waitlist for all divisions. All players who end up on the waitlist are on a first come, first served basis. Based on the number of registered players, we may need to limit divisions and prioritize new players to accommodate those in the Croton-Harmon School District.
Croton AYSO follows the US Soccer Federation’s guidelines where players are placed in divisions based on DOB. Division breakdown is as follows:
U5 Jamboree/Pre-K – Coed / Born Dec 2018 – Nov 2019 (parent participation required)
U6/Kindergarten – Coed / Born Dec 2017 – Nov 2018
U7/U8 1st & 2nd Grade – Girls & Boys / Born Dec 2015 – Nov 2017
U10 – Girls & Boys / Born 2014 or 2015
U12 – Girls & Boys / Born 2012 or 2013
U14 – Girls & Boys / Born 2010 or 2011
Croton AYSO Core Rates ’23/’24
Rates vary by division and cover both the fall and spring seasons. Please note that the AYSO National fee of $20 and Sports Connect transaction fee of $2.75 are billed as separate line items and are non-refundable. Early-bird registration is available through July 31st – a $25 discount will be applied to all completed registrations during this time.
U5 Jamboree – $175 + AYSO & Sports Connect
U6-U14 – $225 + AYSO & Sports Connect
REGISTRATION FAQs
Q) I want to sign my child up for the fall season only. Can I get a prorated registration fee?
No. Registration is for the full year which is broken up into the fall and spring seasons. Fees are not refundable and not prorated if the player opts to not return for the spring season. Fees are also the same if the player signed up only for spring/did not play in fall.
Q) Do I have to attach my child’s birth certificate?
Birth documentation is only required of new players in the Club soccer division (Croton FC).
Q) I want to withdraw my child from play in the middle of the season. Can I get a refund?
Unfortunately, no. Croton AYSO fee refunds are only given if the registration is cancelled prior to the first fall practice. All national fees ($20) & Sports Connect transaction fees ($2.75) are non-refundable.
Q) It’s after August 27th and I forgot to register my child – will you take late registrants?
Depending on the division, we may be able to place a late registrant. The first step is to register for the waitlist (https://www.ayso455.org). Activation off of the waitlist is on a first come, first served basis. If your child is placed on the waitlist, we will notify you of space availability and potential placement as soon as possible, but likely after the season has started.
Q) What time are practices and where will they be located?
Team placement, practice time slots, and locations will be released as soon as possible, but are tentatively scheduled for release around Labor Day. The time slots/locations are generally grouped according to age division and take into account coaches’ schedules and field availability.
