Special thanks to Toni Marie Feliu for managing the Clinic this year as well as the school, trainers and Laurie Gomez and Alicia Pascale for making this all happen. As always, thanks to our coaches, refs and board members for running a program that supports more than half of all children in the community.
And finally, a special shout out to Dan Howald who has done so much for Croton AYSO. For those unaware Dan has been running our Jamboree and VIP programs for years (yes, I know you do, too, Hannah) . He takes his time every Saturday morning and provides a positive environment for our children to start their soccer journey. Thanks, Dan, for all that you do.
Thanks to all players, parents and trainers for a great Winter clinic. Mother nature made it a bit difficult to get all the sessions in but it ultimately worked out. Special thanks to Jean Gield for running the program and making it all happen. Nice work!
We expect to start the Spring soccer season on April 6 with games beginning April 18. Most of you will have your first practice on 4/11 (extra teams will be earlier during the week). Practice schedule has been posted. Coaches will be reaching out if they haven’t already. We will post the game schedule as soon as it is finalized. Unfortunately, we expect that won’t happen until the week of 4/13. Stay tuned.
AYSO will once again have a Winter Clinic program in 2015. The program will run for 6 weeks on January 24 & 31, February 7 & 28, March 7 & 14, with a snow date of March 21. Professional trainers will drive the sessions focusing on fun and indoor training for players in U6 to U14.

Enjoy your first soccer weekend and hopefully the weather holds (check this Website for information on field closings). Picture Day is 10/25 and there is no soccer on Columbus Day Weekend.
Remember it’s about player development, playing the great sport of soccer and having fun. Let’s all keep things in perspective. Have a great season!
I hope everyone has a great summer and keep playing soccer with the kids.
